Service

CompressMP4.org provides a free browser-based MP4 compression tool. You choose a local MP4, set a target size, and the site attempts to create a smaller MP4 in your browser.

Compression results depend on your browser, device performance, source video, and selected target size.

No Account Required

The public compressor does not require registration, login, subscriptions, or payment.

Your Files

You are responsible for the files you choose and for making sure you have the right to process them. Do not use the tool with videos you are not allowed to copy, modify, or compress.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the site to violate laws, infringe rights, attack the service, or interfere with other users' access.

Availability

The site is provided as-is. Browser-based video compression can be CPU and memory intensive, and large files may fail on some devices.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompressMP4.org is not liable for loss of data, failed compression, quality loss, or other damages arising from use of the site. Keep your original video files.
